Brent has been involved in the floor covering industry for almost 30 years. His 12 years as an installer gives him a unique perspective when helping his clients choose the right flooring for their home. Brent prides himself on providing an excellent installed product, as well as helping to coordinate color and design. He and his wife have three sons and a daughter.
She told her friend, Mari George who also works at Standale, that if a receptionist position ever opened up, she would be interested. It did, she was and has been with Standale since the fall of 2015. She has been front and center seeing the changes being made to the reception area. Before joining the staff, Carolyn was an elementary school teacher and stay-at-home mom. She and her husband have three boys. She enjoys cooking, walking and traveling to visit friends and family.
Danette has been with Standale Interiors for almost 20 years. She started part-time in flooring and is now managing the flooring, window treatment and furniture departments.She and her husband have a son and daughter as well as two grandchildren.
Darci received her degree in Interior Design in 1999 and has been with Standale Interiors for over 15 years. She loves coordinating the entire package for her clients. She and her husband have twins – a boy and a girl – as well as an older son.
Dawn started at Standale Lumber as a receptionist in 1978. She left to be a stay-at-home mom and returned to Standale Interiors in 1996. She has worked as a receptionist, assisted in the drapery and furniture departments and now works in the flooring office. She loves being able to help where needed in whatever way necessary. She and her husband have two daughters and are NO longer awaiting the arrival of a granddaughter. DAWN AND HER HUSBAND CLUTCH LOVE BEING GRANDPARNETS TO GRANDSON TEDDY. Every other year, they take a mission trip to Honduras.
Deb attended GRCC for Interior Design. She has worked in draperies at Ann Marie’s, Johnson Carpet and now, Standale Interiors. She also works with furniture and accessories with Carol.
With over 21 years of experience in designing kitchens, Deb strives to make the process enjoyable for her customers. She focuses on finding solutions for each unique situation, combined with practicality and style, to create a great design. She loves to read and explore places new to her.
Jan has worked at Standale since 1986, starting in the furniture department with her mother, June Holtvluwer. For the last 10 years, she has been responsible for marketing, promotions and event planning for both Standale Lumber and Standale Interiors. Now, Joel Bergren and Jan share marketing and PR, including digital. Between Jan and her husband, they have 6 children and 9 grandchildren. They love to travel, bike and spend time on Lake Michigan and in Florida.
Your friendly MSU grad I.T. manager has his office in Standale. His interests include gardening, camping, alternative archeology and religious issues.
Joel Bergren has been in the Construction, Remodeling and Interior Design industry for over 40 years. His experience and creativity are the tools that help bring a certain level of professionalism to everything he does. He is a Certified Kitchen Designer and has held a Michigan Builders License since 2006. He now uses his experience and creativity to market Standale Interiors to the West Michigan area.
John has over 30 years of experience in the flooring industry. He has been involved in both retail and distribution as well as technical support. His focus now is retail and commercial sales for Standale Interiors. He and his wife have a son and daughter and four grandchildren.
Mari has been with Standale since 1991. She started in wall coverings and then moved into flooring sales. After taking time off to be a stay-at-home mom, she returned to work in the flooring office in 2010. She loves working at Standale. “It has always felt like home to me.” She and her husband Jeff have 3 kids who keep them busy.
Mike Butts joined the Standale Lumber family in July of 2016 as the Business Coordinator for Standale Interiors. He comes to us with many years of experience serving the lumber industry at-large. He is a proven professional manager, writer, business consultant and guest speaker at industry events. Mike lives in Lansing with his wife and enjoys Michigan summers aboard his boat on the great lakes.

Randy has been in the flooring/tile business for 23 years. He attended GVSU for has been with Standale Interiors for 19 years. and has been happily married for 16 years. He and his wife have a wonderful daughter.
Patty has been in the flooring industry for over 30 years. She was a rep for several years for a large flooring manufacturer, but loves working one-on-one with her clients putting together the finishing touches in flooring and interior design. She has been with Standale Interiors for over 15 years. She and her husband have two daughters and they all love hunting and have been on several Safari's.
Robin began working for Standale Interiors as a receptionist. When a position became available in the flooring department, Robin was excited to put her Interior Design degree (earned in 2006) to use. She loves helping her clients find just the right product to bring their vision for their home together.
Sara has known of Standale for the majority of her life, being as two family members also work for us and have for many years. She remembers visiting as a child and always eating a cookie, which are always available in the reception area. As the newest member of the reception staff she brings fresh ideas and understanding to the team. She has added Cabinetry assistant to her duties at Standale. Her favorite part of working for Standale is how close knit and family oriented the company is.
Michelle has been in the floor covering industry since 1997 and at Standale Interiors since 2012. It is her passion to work with clients and help them turn their decorating ideas into a reality within their home. She loves helping with design on any budget and projects from large to small. She has one son.
Anneke has been in the home improvement industry for over 15 years. She has extensive experience in both kitchens and flooring. She has lived in Boston, California and North Carolina, but now calls Michigan her home. She has both an art and English degree from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. A busy wife and mom, she enjoys creating art, crafting and writing in her free time.
